Getting to Know You… Adele Voell

Adele VoellOur guest editor this issue is Adele Voell, ICF Board member and professional Idyllwild volunteer.  In 1996 Adele and her husband moved to Idyllwild from Texas.  After a career in the US Navy and the business world, Adele began her lifelong dream of giving back to her community at the Idyllwild library.  She served as the Volunteer Coordinator and Membership Chair before becoming the President of the Friends of the Library this year just in time to develop a passionate involvement in the move to a new facility.

On the Board of the Idyllwild Area Historical Society and a “helper” for ICRC’s Speaker Series, Adele also finds time to volunteer at the Help Center and be President of P.E.O. an organization supporting women’s education.

When off the hill, Adele will be attending another of her “involvements”, the WAVES, a group of sea service women from the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.

And so….Adele is your Idyllwild neighbor, supporting your efforts, being there when needed and lending a hand in so many ways.  We are fortunate to have her expertise and committed voice on the ICF Board.
